This small collection contains orders placed with Hugh Gardner for the retail sale of goods in 1773. Orders appear on scraps of paper. Items mentioned include hardware; dry goods, such as silk and sheeting; buttons; stone mugs; a seal skin trunk; tea, salt, and sugar; shoes; linseed oil; and writing paper. The two orders from 1769 are addressed to Archibald Clark.
